The main difference between thermocouples and thermal resistors is: 1. The nature of the signal. Thermal resistance itself is a resistor. The change in temperature causes a positive or negative change in resistance. Thermocouples generate changes in induced voltage, which vary with temperature. 2. The temperature ranges detected by the two sensors are different, and the measurement range of the thermocouple is wide. Thermistors are used for low-temperature detection, while thermocouples are typically used for high-temperature detection. From a material perspective, thermistor is a metallic material that is temperature sensitive to changes; Thermocouples are bimetallic materials that represent two different metals. Due to temperature changes, thermal resistors will generate potential differences. What are the differences between thermocouples and thermistors? Although thermistors and thermocouples are not very common in our daily lives, both measuring elements are necessary for temperature measurement and contact measurement.
