Technical Features:

◆Less investment

The treatment of desulfurization products (such as zinc sulfite) can be combined with the production process of lead smelting plants, that is, some of the existing production equipment in the factory (such as zinc concentrate boiling vine roasting furnace, SO2 acid production system, purification of zinc sulfate solution, electrolysis system, etc.) can be used as recycling equipment for desulfurization by-products. Therefore, compared with other desulfurization methods, this method requires less investment and has the characteristic of being tailored to the conditions.

◆Low operating costs

After using the intermediate product of lead-zinc smelting process - ZnO cigarette ash as a desulfurizer to remove SO2, both the zinc in the desulfurizer and the sulfur in the flue gas are converted into by-products, achieving the comprehensive utilization of sulfur and zinc resources. Compared with other desulfurization methods, this method eliminates the cost of sulfuric acid agent (which accounts for more than 60% of the total operating cost in other sulfuric acid methods), and only requires expenses such as power, maintenance, and wages. Therefore, the operating cost of ZnO desulfurization is relatively low.

◆No secondary pollution is generated

Zinc in cigarette ash and SO2 in flue gas are recovered as products without generating secondary pollution.
