In the past, the light intensity had to be manually adjusted to suit every switching of the objective lens or observation method, so this process could not be automated. The patented technology product of Axio Imager, the optical path manager, provides a solution. Axio Imager can save 18 combination parameters (6 objective lenses x 3 zoom optovar positions).
