ZSN4Series of DC motors for cement rotary kilns

1Overview

ZSN4The series of DC motors are in Z4A specialized series of products developed based on the characteristics of the load conditions of cement rotary kilns, based on the series of DC motors. This series of motors adopts an octagonal structure, with high utilization of stator space. The stator yoke is laminated, which can withstand pulsating current and high current change rate working conditions. If a three-phase fully controlled bridge rectifier power supply is used for the motor, it can be connected without a smoothing reactor. The motor adopts F-class insulation structure, which enables the motor to have a large capacity. According to the special working conditions of the cement rotary kiln, design and manufacture according to the requirement that the starting torque of the electric motor can reach 2.5 times the rated torque. The use of pipeline ventilation cooling method enables the motor to operate safely and reliably in harsh environments with high dust.

IIMotor performance

1.The motor should be able to operate at rated capacity under the following conditions of use:
1.1.
The altitude shall not exceed 1000m.
1.2. The temperature of the cooling medium entering the motor shall not exceed 40 ℃.
1.3. The electric motor operates continuously (S1).
1.4. The armature circuit and excitation of the motor are powered by a static power supply or a DC generator set.
1.5. For motors cooled by pipeline ventilation, the air volume and pressure should meet the requirements in the table below, and the air inlet should be located on the non commutator side end cover of the motor.

2.The insulation level of the motor is FGrade.
3. The rated voltage of the motor armature is 440V, and 400V, 220V, or other voltages can also be derived according to user requirements

Voltage: Low armature voltage is used for constant torque speed regulation. Under continuous armature current conditions, the minimum speed of the motor can reach 20r/mm, At this time, the rated torque can still be maintained and the speed is stable.
4. The rated excitation voltage of the motor is 180V, and other excitation voltages can also be derived. To ensure reliable insulation of the excitation system, a release resistor should be connected in parallel at both ends of the excitation winding when disconnecting the excitation circuit to prevent self induced potential. When the excitation voltage is between 180-22V, its value is about 7 times the cold resistance value of the excitation winding. If the excitation voltage is 320-370V, its value is about 5 times.
The efficiency values in the technical data sheet refer to the efficiency at rated power, rated voltage, and rated speed, which includes excitation losses but does not include the power required for ventilation devices.
ZSN4-225 motor does not have compensating winding, but has series excitation winding.
7. The motor is provided with a terminal post with a grounding mark.
8. The performance of this series of motors complies with the national standard GB755? 87 "Basic Technical Requirements for Rotating Electrical Machinery" and the departmental standard JB6316? The technical specifications for Z4 series DC motors can also be assessed according to the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC34-l.
4、 Structure Introduction

2. Motor installation form: horizontal foot installation (1MB3). Motors can be manufactured as single axis extension or double axis extension, and single axis extension motors can be equipped with speed generators or other speed measurement devices on the non transmission side.
3. If required by the user, thermistors or other overheat protection components can be embedded in the stator winding of the motor.
4. The outlet box is located on the right side of the machine base when viewed from the transmission side. If the user needs it, it can also be located on the left or above the machine base.
