ZMD series automatic electronic density meterAccording to the classical Archimedes principle, a force sensor based on the electromagnetic force balance principle with high sensitivity, precision, and repeatability can automatically, conveniently, accurately, and quickly test the specific gravity of solids and the density of liquids. By utilizing the weighing function of this instrument, it can also replace electronic scales with corresponding accuracy and weighing.

It is widely used to test the specific gravity of various solids such as rubber, plastics (particles or finished products), metal, powder metallurgy, glass, and the density of various liquids (aqueous solutions, oils, essence, spices, coatings, etc.). ZMD-3 and ZMD-4 can also measure objects in powder, paste, and gel forms.

The ZMD series automatic electronic density meter/specific gravity meter is designed specifically for testing the density or specific gravity of objects. Compared with density scales on the market that add a density measurement device to the electronic balance, it has the following obvious advantages:

① A regular density balance, the liquid used to test solid density, and the sample used to test liquid density are all placed on the scale pan of an electronic balance. If these liquids spill over, they will flow into the sensor under the scale pan, which can be repaired or scrapped. And our automatic electronic density meter is specially designed for measuring density. The sensor is placed on top of the scale pan, and even if the liquid is completely spilled, it has no effect on the sensor. In addition, the operating space is large and testing is very convenient.

② The use of large water tank glass cups effectively reduces the error caused by the rise of liquid on the suspension bar and improves the accuracy of testing.

③ The built-in standard program uses pure ethanol as a medium for measuring solid density, which is very useful for measuring solids with densities less than 1 and greater than 0.8, especially plastic particles. A regular density balance can only use water as a standard medium and is powerless for samples with a density less than 1. In addition, samples such as plastic particles can produce bubbles when placed in water, which can affect measurement accuracy, but placing them in ethanol can effectively eliminate bubbles. So, precisely because of this special feature, our density meter has a lot of users in industries such as rubber and plastic.
