Product Introduction
Before use, the vacuum water tank must be filled with water. When the water in the tank is pumped out by the water pump, negative pressure (vacuum) is generated inside the tank. Due to the action of atmospheric pressure, the water in the reservoir enters the vacuum tank through the suction pipe and is continuously supplied by the water pump.

The vacuum water tank is used for down suction (low water pump high) water pumps without self-priming function. The ZKG series vacuum water tank has a unique structure and high vacuum degree, ensuring high working efficiency of the water pump. The vacuum water tank is an ideal choice to replace the vacuum pump.
The pre pump vacuum water intake tank is a type of water pump suction equipment, also known as a vacuum tank, vacuum water intake tank, or automatic water intake device. It is a sealed tank connected in series with the suction pipe in front of the pump, which changes the suction port of the water pump from negative pressure suction to positive pressure suction. The application of vacuum water diversion tanks can save on vacuum pumps, gas water separation tanks, and suction pipe bottom valves.

working condition
Before starting the water pump, fill the cylinder with water until the 2-2 section is reached, and the space inside the cylinder above the 2-2 section and the suction pipe of the vacuum water tank between sections 0-0 and 1-1 are all atmospheric pressure air. After the water pump is started, the water level in the tank gradually decreases, causing the air pressure inside the tank to gradually decrease and form negative pressure. The water from the water source gradually rises through the suction pipe. When the water level in the cylinder drops to the 3-3 section, the suction pipe is completely filled with water, and then the suction system enters the operating state. As the operating time continues, the air inside the tank is carried out by the water in the form of bubbles outside the cylinder, achieving normal operation. In this way, the negative pressure suction of the water pump is transformed into positive pressure suction.

Adopting a vacuum water tank suction system. Not only does it change the suction condition of the water pump, but it also has the following advantages:
1. The equipment is simple and saves investment. Compared with the vacuum pump water intake system, it can save the vacuum pump and air-water separation tank, and the suction pipe does not need to be equipped with a bottom valve, which not only saves engineering costs, but also is easy to operate and occupies a small area.
2. The vacuum water tank is easy to manufacture and maintain.
3. Changing the negative pressure suction of the water pump to positive pressure suction has good performance, reliable operation, and avoids the disadvantage of water leakage from the bottom valve affecting the normal operation of the water pump.
Due to its aforementioned advantages, its scope of use is constantly expanding, and it is constantly being improved and perfected in practice.
In the design, production, and installation of vacuum water tanks, the following points should be noted:
The entire water absorption system must be tight and leak proof
Try to minimize the resistance of the suction pipe, and the diameter of the suction pipe should not be less than the diameter of the water pump suction port, so that the flow rate is around 1.0m/s.
Try to reduce the suction height as much as possible, and lower the height of the vacuum water tank as much as possible while ensuring that the water pump can be filled with water.
The water intake tank should be installed near the water source to reduce the length of the suction pipe of the water intake tank.
The volume of the water intake tank should be large rather than small, and it is never allowed to be less than the design volume to ensure its water absorption capacity.
