Overview of the use of YT-0689 UV fluorescence sulfur content analyzer:
The YT-0689 UV Fluorescence Sulfur Content Analyzer is based on SH/T0689 "Determination of Total Sulfur Content in Light Hydrocarbons, Engine Fuels, and Other Oil Products (UV Fluorescence Method)", using the principle of UV fluorescence detection. After the test sample (or standard sample) is introduced into the high-temperature cracking furnace, the sulfides in it are quantitatively converted into sulfur dioxide. In the reaction chamber, sulfur dioxide emits photons due to changes in energy under the action of UV fluorescence, and the light signal is detected and received by a photomultiplier tube at a specific wavelength. After amplification by a microcurrent amplifier and computer data processing, the total sulfur content in the sample can be determined. Suitable for determining the total sulfur content in liquid hydrocarbons with a boiling point range of approximately 25-400 ℃ and a viscosity range of approximately 0.2-10mm2/s at room temperature. Naphtha, distillate oil, engine fuel, and other oil products with a total sulfur content of 1.0-8000mg/kg can be accurately determined, and are also used for the determination of total sulfur content in petroleum gas, food, and water. This method is equivalent to the American Society for Testing and Materials standard AS1MD5453 "Determination of Total Sulfur Content in Light Hydrocarbons, Engine Fuels, and Other Oils by UV Fluorescence Method".
