Detection Principle

The YC-113 practical fluoride analyzer is designed and developed according to the national standard HJ488-2009 "Determination of fluoride in water quality - Fluorine reagent spectrophotometric method". Fluoride ions react with fluoride reagent and lanthanum nitrate in an acetate buffer medium with a pH of 4.1 to form a blue ternary complex, which is then compared by colorimetric method. After calculation by a microcomputer chip, the fluoride content (calculated as F -) is directly displayed. After collecting water samples, users can add matching reagents to directly measure the fluoride content in the water sample on the instrument.
