The manufacturing cost of wet dust collectors is relatively low. But it is an ideal dust removal method for dust generated by industries such as chemical, spray painting, glaze spraying, pigments, etc., which contains moisture, viscosity, and irritating odors. Because it can not only remove dust, but also use water to remove some odors. If it is a harmful gas (such as a small amount of sulfur dioxide, hydrochloric acid mist, etc.), an absorbent can be prepared in the washing solution to absorb it. Disadvantages:

The mud discharged from the wet dust collector needs to be treated, otherwise it will cause secondary pollution;

When purifying corrosive gases, chemical corrosiveness is transferred to the water, so the sewage system needs to be protected with anti-corrosion materials;

Not suitable for hydrophobic smoke and dust; For viscous smoke and dust that can easily cause blockages in pipelines, blades, etc; |

Compared with dry dust collectors, it requires water consumption and is difficult to handle. In extremely cold areas, anti freezing measures should be taken.

There are many forms of wet dust collectors used in engineering. Overall, it can be divided into low-energy and two categories. The pressure loss of low-energy wet dust remover is 0.2-1.5kPa, including spray tower and cyclone scrubber. Under normal operating conditions, the water consumption (liquid gas ratio) is 0.5-3.0 liters per cubic meter, and the purification efficiency of particles above 10 microns can reach 90-95%. The wet dust remover, which was once used by Dongguan Tianming Environmental Protection and Energy Saving Project, has won the favor of new and old customers in 2009, with a purification rate of 98%. The pressure loss of wet dust collectors is 2.5-9.0kPa, and the purification efficiency can reach over 99.5%, such as Venturi scrubbers.
