Sulfides in water include H2S, HS-,S2-, Soluble sulfides, acid soluble metal sulfides, and non ionized organic-inorganic sulfides mainly exist in suspended solids. Excessive concentration of hydrogen sulfide in aquaculture water may cause poisoning or death of aquatic organisms. In addition, water bodies containing sulfides are prone to emitting hydrogen sulfide gas, which has a foul odor and causes inconvenience to residents living near sulfide contaminated water bodies.
Water quality sulfide detection reagentThis product eliminates the tedious operation of preparing reagents and testing processes for users, improves detection efficiency, and is based on the GB/T5750.6-2006 standardWater quality sulfide detection reagent.

Testing precautions
1. For more accurate testing, the blank value of each new batch of reagents should be measured. The determination of reagent blank is also carried out according to the testing steps, except that the sample is replaced with pure water for testing. Subtract the blank value of the reagent from the final test result;
2. If the content is higher than the reagent range, the measured value can only be used to estimate the dilution factor and cannot be used as a test result. After diluting the sample, retest it again;
3. Measure the temperature between 10-30 ℃;
4. The water sample contains heavy metals such as sulfite, thiosulfate, nitrite, thiocyanate, iodide ions, lead, mercury, copper, etc., which interfere with the analysis of sulfides;
5. Store in a dry, cool, and out of reach of children. Do not store together with food, medicine, etc., and do not put into fire;
6. Do not shake the sample too much during testing to reduce sulfide loss.
