Working principle
An extension bypass pipe is installed on the outside of the bucket, and a liquid level indicator is added from the outside of the bypass pipe. A floating ball with a magnet is placed inside the bypass pipe. As the magnetic color plate contains a magnet with opposite magnetic properties to the floating ball, it will attract the magnetic color plate to flip when it rises, and the color of the magnetic color plate will change from white to red(Or silver to gold)To indicate the actual liquid level height.

Application Notice:
1. It is recommended to install a shut-off valve between the side mounted level gauge and the upper and lower distribution pipes of the tested container to open or close the level gauge, which also facilitates maintenance of the level gauge. When the upper and lower shut-off valves are closed, the bottom drain flange of the level gauge can be opened or the drain screw can be removed, and the main body of the level gauge can be cleaned by injecting clean water.
2. Install the level gauge with a flange center perpendicularity of ∠ 4 ‰. When the measurement range of the level gauge is greater than 3 meters, it is necessary to consider adding a reinforced flange (or ear hook) in the middle as a fixed support to increase strength.
3. For the connection between the remote level gauge transmitter and the secondary instrument, it is required that the cross-sectional area of the core wire of the connection should be greater than 0.8mm2. When laid parallel to the AC power supply, a distance of at least 20 centimeters should be maintained. It is best to lay it separately in an iron pipe or with a shielded two core cable. The shielding layer can only be grounded at one end.
4. Choose a liquid level controller with contact capacity designed for resistive loads. If non resistive or high-power loads are used, intermediate relays should be used for conversion.
5. It is not advisable to use this level gauge in situations where the liquid medium contains suspended impurities and magnetic substances (as these impurities can cause blockage to the float component).
6. The "L1" in the external structure diagram is the "sinking distance" of the side mounted liquid level gauge. Users must understand this parameter, which is related to the density of the medium. According to the principle of buoyancy, the length of the float component is related to the density of the medium. Therefore, different detailed parameters of L1 must be considered for different media when selecting and designing.
Installation, use, and maintenance
1. The installation of the liquid level gauge must be vertical to ensure that the float component can move up and down freely within the main pipe.
2. It is best to install a shut-off valve between the container and the level gauge to facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the level gauge and cut off the material.
3. No magnetic conductor is allowed to approach the main tube of the liquid level gauge, otherwise it will directly affect the normal operation of the liquid level gauge.
After the installation of the liquid level gauge, it is necessary to calibrate it with magnetic steel and guide the flip column once to display red below zero position and white above zero position.
When the liquid level gauge is put into operation, the valve of the lower liquid inlet pipe should be opened first to allow the liquid medium to smoothly enter the main pipe, avoiding the liquid medium from rapidly rising with the floating ball component, which may cause column flipping failure and disorderly flipping. If this phenomenon occurs, it can be recalibrated with magnetic steel after the liquid level stabilizes.
6. In order to prevent damage to the float component during transportation, the float component is removed from the main tube of the liquid level gauge before leaving the factory. After the installation of the liquid level gauge is completed, open the bottom drain flange, and then reinstall the floating ball component into the main pipe. Note that the heavy end of the floating ball component is facing upwards and cannot be inverted.
