Road traffic signs are facilities used to manage traffic by conveying specific information to traffic participants through graphic symbols, colors, and text.
The shape, pattern, size, setting, construction, reflection, lighting, and production of road traffic signs must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this standard.
The color range of road traffic signs shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the national standard GB/T 8416, as shown in Appendix A (Appendix of the standard).
The text of road traffic signs should be written in a standardized, correct, and neat manner. Chinese characters and other scripts can be used in combination as needed. When using both Chinese and English characters on the sign, place names are in Chinese Pinyin and specialized nouns are in English.
The outer edge of the border of road traffic signs should have a background color. The substrate color regulations are: yellow for warning signs, white for prohibition signs, blue for directional signs, green for directional signs on highways and urban expressways, and blue for directional signs on other roads. )
