Recently, the 230 ㎡ sintering workshop dry desulfurization and denitrification project jointly built by Tiantuo Sifang DEPC (Digital General Contractor) and a steel enterprise has been officially completed. The formal operation of the project will contribute to the automation construction and environmental protection transformation of the steel enterprise, practice green development, and create an industry benchmark.
This steel enterprise is a Fortune 500 company in China, as well as a national high-tech enterprise and a safety production standardization enterprise. In order to meet the national environmental emission requirements and meet the needs of its own development, the enterprise has carried out a full flue gas denitrification transformation of the sintering workshop. The original two 96 ㎡ sintering machine desulfurization equipment have been eliminated, and a new 230 ㎡ sintering workshop has been built for desulfurization and denitrification to meet the special emission standards required by the new national environmental protection law. The desulfurization and denitrification products, as new materials, can eliminate solid waste and achieve the environmental effect of recycling.

The newly built sintering workshop includes the renovation of the raw material system, fuel receiving tank, fuel crushing room, batching room, primary mixing room, secondary mixing room, sintering room, machine head dust removal main extraction system, finished product screening room, finished product tank, renovation of the old finished product system, transfer station and rubber belt conveyor corridor and other related supporting facilities. On the basis of retaining the original steel slag desulfurization method, a new dry desulfurization and denitrification system will be built to extract the sintering flue gas from the outlet of the sintering main exhaust fan and send it to the dry desulfurization and denitrification system for desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal treatment.
According to the process requirements of the 230 ㎡ sintering workshop desulfurization and denitrification project of the enterprise, Tiantuo Sifang used Siemens STEP7 as the control platform, S7-400H system as the redundant controller, ET200M series remote IO station, monitoring network using fiber optic Ethernet, and Profibus DP control network to help the steel enterprise achieve automatic control of the 230 ㎡ sintering workshop desulfurization and denitrification project. After purification, the sulfur dioxide emission concentration of the outlet flue gas is ≤ 40 mg/standard cubic meter, the NOx emission concentration is ≤ 100 mg/standard cubic meter, and the dust emission concentration is ≤ 10 mg/standard cubic meter. The emission index is superior to the special emission limit of the national standard, achieving ultra clean emissions.
