The TYTC-2001 coating thickness gauge is the crystallization of high-tech. It adopts single-chip technology, with high accuracy, digital display, stable indication, low power consumption, simple and convenient operation, touch buttons, single probe full range measurement, small size, and light weight; And it has storage, reading, statistics, low voltage indication, system/midnight/Two point calibration, its performance reaches the advanced level of contemporary international similar instruments.
This instrument uses electromagnetic induction method to measure the thickness of the coating (plating) layer. The probe located on the surface of the component generates a closed magnetic circuit, which will change to varying degrees as the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material changes, causing changes in magnetic resistance and probe coil inductance. This principle can be used to accurately measure the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material, that is, the thickness of the coating (plating) layer.
This instrument adopts magnetic thickness measurement method, which can conveniently and non destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic materials, such as zinc, copper, chromium coatings on steel surfaces or coatings of paint, enamel, fiberglass, spray coating, asphalt, etc. This instrument is widely used in industries such as machinery, automotive, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, electroplating, spraying, enamel, plastics, etc.

Application scenario explanation:
TYTCTwo thickness measurement methods, magnetic and eddy current, are used. By replacing the corresponding probe, the thickness of the non-magnetic coating layer on the magnetic metal substrate can be measured, and the thickness of the non-conductive coating layer on the non-magnetic metal substrate can also be measured, with a wider range of applications.
TYTC-2001/2003It is also possible to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic materials or non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic metal substrates through optional configurations. Only one can be chosen, and the optional configuration cannot be changed after leaving the factory. Different items need to be tested later and instruments need to be purchased again.
