Overview
TXCPS, also known as "Control and Protective Switching Device CPS", is a new type of product in low-voltage electrical appliances. It is the first generation of products developed in China in the 1990s to fill the domestic gap. As a new category of products, its product category code is "KB0", which is an abbreviation for "Confol and Protective Switching Device" in English. It complies with the standards of IEC60947-6-2 (1997) "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Part 6: Multifunctional Electrical Appliances Section 2: Control and Protective Switching Device CPS" (first edition in August 1992) and GB14048.9-1998 "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Multifunctional Electrical Appliances (Equipment) Part 2: Control and Protective Switching Device CPS". Equipment (equivalent to IEC60947-6-2).

  TXCPS (KBO) Control and Protection SwitchgearThe main feature of CPS is to achieve integrated and internally coordinated control and protection functions on products with a single structural form. It can replace various traditional separation components such as circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (or overcurrent, phase failure) protection relays, starters, isolators, and motor comprehensive protectors. KB0 has the function of both remote automatic control and on-site manual control for control operations, with a coordinated time current protection feature. It has the ability to operate continuously after a short circuit due to self coordination of control and protection. It has high breaking ability, small arcing distance, long lifespan, and adjustable protection setting current. The advantages of easy operation, diverse and complete supporting accessory modules, etc., can achieve control and protection of motor loads and distribution loads.
The emergence of TXCPS (KBO) control and protection switchgear CPS fundamentally solves various problems caused by unreasonable control and protection coordination due to the use of discrete components (usually circuit breakers or fuses+contactors+overload relays) in traditional methods. Especially, it overcomes the phenomenon of uncoordinated protection characteristics and control characteristics when electrical products with different assessment standards are combined together, greatly improving the operational reliability and continuous operation performance of control and protection systems.
The first generation of TXCPS (KBO) control and protection switchgear CPS has a relatively large volume and uses bimetallic strip technology for protection. Although the second-generation product solved the problem of large volume. But there hasn't been any major breakthrough in protection technology. With the increasing application and deepening of microelectronics technology in the low-voltage electrical industry, our company aims at this opportunity and takes the path of high-end product design based on the latest microelectronics technology. On the basis of the KB0 series products, we have invested heavily in the development of TXKB0 (KBO) control and protection switch CPS, which has international advanced level. Overcoming the shortcomings of KB0 series products, it combines the advantages of low-voltage electrical discrete components, with complete functions and reliable performance. The basic configuration of TXKB0 economical control and protection switch: main body+digital controller+auxiliary contact group.
The main body consists of the basic modules of the main circuit, namely the contact system module, short-circuit release, electromagnetic system module, and operating mechanism module.
The auxiliary contact group consists of short-circuit alarm contacts, overload alarm contacts, and a set of normally open and normally closed auxiliary contacts. For example, 02 is 2 normally open and 1 normally closed+1 short-circuit and 1 overload; 06 is 4 normally open 2 normally closed+1 short circuit 1 overload; 09 is 2 normally open and 1 normally closed.

Number of poles: represented by two digits (the first digit represents the number of poles of the product, and the last digit represents the number of poles for protection), such as 33 for level 3 with 3 poles protection, 30 for level 3 without protection, and 43 for level 4 with 3 poles protection.

Function and purpose
TXCPS adopts a modular single product structure, integrating the main functions of traditional low-voltage electrical products such as circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (or overcurrent, phase failure) protection relays, starters, isolators, and motor comprehensive protectors. It has remote automatic control and local direct manual control functions, panel indication and electromechanical signal alarm functions, overvoltage and undervoltage protection functions, phase failure and phase loss protection functions, undercurrent and underpower functions, and coordinated time current protection characteristics (with four protection characteristics of overload inverse time limit, timed limit, short circuit instantaneous, and super short circuit instantaneous). By selecting functional modules or accessories as needed, control and protection of various types of motor loads and distribution loads can be achieved.
TXKB0 is mainly used in power systems with AC 50Hz (60Hz), rated voltage up to 690V, main rated current from 6.3A to 125A, adjustable working current of intelligent controllers from 0.16A to 125A, and controlled motor power from 0.05KW to 55KW to connect, carry, and disconnect current under normal conditions (including specified overload conditions), and can connect, carry, and disconnect current under specified abnormal conditions (such as short circuits).

Auxiliary contact module
The basic parameters of auxiliary contacts are shown in Table 10. The auxiliary contacts are electrically separated, meaning that each group of contacts can be connected to different voltages; Each pair of auxiliary contact terminals is marked with a 2-digit number, with the single digit indicating the function number. 1 and 2 represent normally closed contacts, and 3 and 4 represent normally open contacts; The ten digit number of the symbol is the sequence number. The wiring terminals belonging to the same contact use the same sequence number, and all contacts with the same function use different sequence numbers. Among them, 95 and 98 indicate normally open contacts for fault signals, while 05 and 08 indicate normally open contacts for main short-circuit signals. When the main circuit experiences overload (or overcurrent, overvoltage, phase loss, etc.) faults, the operation knob is in TRlP, and the 95 and 98 fault alarm signals are closed, causing the main circuit to disconnect; When a short circuit occurs, the operation knob is in TRIP, and the short circuit alarm signals of the 05 and 08 main bodies are closed. The fault alarm signals of 95 and 98 are also closed, and the main circuit is disconnected.
There are two types of auxiliary contacts: mechanical passive contacts and electrical passive contacts. Mechanical passive contacts control the on/off of auxiliary contacts through the action of operating mechanisms and electric transmission mechanisms. They are suitable for self-locking or interlocking with other products, such as normally open contacts 13-14; 23-24; 33-34; 53-54 and normally closed contacts 31-32; 11-12; Electrical passive contacts are controlled by digital controllers to open and close, suitable for signal indication, such as normally open contacts 63-64; 41-44 and normally closed contacts 41-42.
