1、 Product Description:

The TSS-80B online turbidity meter is an online analytical instrument designed to measure the turbidity of water in municipal or industrial wastewater treatment processes. The TSS-80B online turbidity meter consists of a transmitter and a sensor. The sensor can be easily installed in the pool or natural water body and can automatically compensate for interference caused by pollution. Bidirectional digital communication between transmitters and sensors can prevent signal attenuation and allow for greater distance between sensors and transmitters.

3、 Measurement principle:

The measurement principle of TSS-80B online turbidity meter is shown in the figure. The 940nm wavelength infrared light emitted by the transmitter on the sensor is absorbed, reflected, and scattered by the measured object during transmission. Some of the light is transmitted to the detector in the 180 degree direction, and some of the scattered light is irradiated to the detector in the 90 degree direction. The intensity of light received by the 180 degree and 90 degree direction detectors is related to the turbidity of the water being measured, so the turbidity value of the water can be calculated by measuring the intensity of transmitted and scattered light.

By measuring the intensity of light on two detectors, a high-precision 940nm light intensity conversion frequency integrated circuit chip is used in the 180 degree direction to convert the received light intensity into a digital signal. The 90 degree direction adopts an integrated circuit chip that converts high-precision 940nm light intensity into voltage, and processes it into a digital signal through data acquisition. In this way, the two signals can achieve automatic compensation, effectively eliminate interference, compensate for deviations caused by pollution, and enable the instrument to work in harsh environments.
