Model TC80It is a readily available device installed on the panelTotal chlorine analyzer. It is designed to monitor total chlorine in drinking water, flushing water, cooling water, or other freshwater samples, with a high range sensor monitoring range of 0.05-20 ppm Cl2 and a low range sensor monitoring range of 0.005-2.000 ppm. The TC80 adopts a plug and play design, integrating flow control devices, pH sensors, and chlorine sensors. The T80 controller is conveniently installed on PVC panels. Connect the sample and drainage pipe, connect the power supply and output, and it is ready for use. TC80 has been calibrated before leaving the factory, and the other calibration is completed through DPD comparison.

Total chlorine is the sum of free chlorine, chloramines, organic chlorine, and bound chlorine in the sample. The TC sensor is a three electrode current sensor with a gold cathode, a silver halide anode, and a 304 stainless steel counter electrode. Provide stable base potential to the electrode to minimize drift. The total chlorine sensor has a microporous membrane that allows ions to diffuse in and out of the sensor.

Various chloride ions in the tested solution diffuse into the sensor and react with acidic potassium iodide electrolyte to generate iodine. Iodine is reduced to iodide at the cathode, and the current between the cathode and silver iodide anode is proportional to the total chlorine. The pH sensor provides pH compensation for samples between 4 and 12, and does not require expensive sample adjustment systems. T80 displays total chlorine and pH values in graphical form for trend analysis.
