Vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) sterilizer is a technology that utilizes the advantage of hydrogen peroxide's stronger spore killing ability in a gaseous state at room temperature to generate free - OH, which is used to attack cellular components including lipids, proteins, and DNA, achieving complete sterilization requirements. Commonly used for sterilization in enclosed spaces such as isolation rooms and isolators.

Vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilization utilizes the advantage of hydrogen peroxide, which has a stronger ability to kill spores in a gaseous state than in a liquid state at room temperature. Liquid H2O2 is vaporized and rapidly generated into free hydroxyl groups (HO --), which are used to attack cellular components, including lipids, proteins, and DNA tissues, disrupting their structure and achieving complete sterilization.

The biological decontamination process of plasma vaporization hydrogen peroxide sterilizer can be divided into four stages: 1. Vaporization stage: Input the hydrogen peroxide solution into the vaporizer to vaporize into hydrogen peroxide vapor, and input it into the mixing chamber through a fan for processing; 2. Plasma generation stage: Introduce steam state hydrogen peroxide into the plasma generation chamber, convert steam hydrogen peroxide into plasma hydrogen peroxide, and send it to the sterilization chamber; 3. Biological decontamination maintenance stage: Continue to input hydrogen peroxide plasma into the sterilization chamber until the preset concentration is reached (usually based on the concentration value verified by biological test paper), start timing, and maintain above the preset concentration for 30-35 minutes. The biological decontamination is completed (the sterilization efficiency reaches 6-log after 30 minutes of verification), and stop hydrogen peroxide vaporization and plasma conversion; 4. Residual stage: The gas system switches to residual devices everywhere, and the hydrogen peroxide in the vaporized plasma is converted into water and oxygen through a decomposer, continuously circulating to reduce the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the air to below 1ppm. The operation of each stage can be manually controlled separately or automatically controlled, running one by one in sequence. |
