Stainless steel manhole is an emergency ventilation device installed on the top of a storage tank, usually used in conjunction with fire extinguishers and mechanical breathing valves. It can not only prevent accidents caused by sudden overpressure or vacuum inside the tank, but also play a role in fire prevention. It is a device for protecting the storage tank, especially suitable for storing materials in arch top atmospheric pressure tanks capped with nitrogen gas. It has the advantages of constant pressure discharge, constant pressure suction, flexible opening and closing, fire resistance, compact structure, good sealing performance, and reliability.
Stainless steel manholes are generally made of 304 and 316L steel plates as raw materials.
Manholes are divided into emergency pressure relief manholes, explosion-proof fire-resistant breathing manholes, tank top manholes, tank wall manholes, and core manholes.
