Under favorable on-site conditions, it is generally preferred to use an integrated design, where sensors and converters are assembled together. The so-called split type refers to the sensors and converters being installed separately in different locations. Generally, split type is selected when the following situations occur.

1. The ambient temperature or radiation temperature on the surface of the converter exceeds 60 ℃

2. In situations where pipeline vibration is significant.

3. In situations where the aluminum casing of the converter is severely corroded.

4. Flow meters are installed in high-altitude or underground environments where debugging is inconvenient.
