Introduction to Side Stream Processor


The PDII-F/G series circulating water bypass processor is developed based on the original full flow water processor. This water processor adopts the principle of low-voltage electric field with superimposed pulses, automatically adjusts the processing signal according to water quality, and only requires bypass treatment. The product is suitable for sterilization, algae removal, scale removal, and removal of suspended solids in circulating water systems.

In many occasions, the cooling tower scale absorber and the bypass water processor can be replaced by each other. In open circulating water systems, it is recommended to install a shallow medium filter after the bypass water processor to reduce water turbidity.


Principle of Side Stream Processor

Pulse low-voltage electric field generates microcrystals with excellent descaling function, which can continuously prevent scaling for 48 hours; The patented electrode with catalytic activity produces strong bactericidal factors such as reactive oxygen species, which can kill bacteria and algae; Active substances form Fe on the inner wall of carbon steel water pipes3O4Dense protective film to prevent corrosion; Suspended solids in water are efficiently separated and discharged from the system in the water processor, resulting in cleaner water quality.

These oxidizing substances diffuse through the flow of water to all places where water passes, killing bacteria and algae cells in the water system. The bacteria and algae cells in the water flowing through the water treatment plant are directly killed by the current, and the reactive oxygen species form an oxide film on the pipeline to protect the equipment from further corrosion. Various microbial and sedimentary corrosion are inhibited.

Visible descaling

Specific energy fields alter the crystallization process of CaCO3, inhibiting the production of calcite and providing energy for the formation of aragonite crystals.

Under the action of electrodes, the processor generates a large number of microcrystals with excellent anti scaling function. Microcrystals can preferentially remove easily scaling ions in water, forming loose aragonite, which is discharged through an automatic valve into the scale collection device outside the system for easy observation of the descaling effect. Selection of Side Stream Processor


AThe open cooling water system should choose F-type and select the water processor according to the pipe diameter indicated by the F-type specification.
B、 The closed circulating water system should be selected as G-type, and the water processor should be selected according to the pipe diameter indicated by the G-type specification

Due to the significant differences between open cooling water systems and closed circulating water systems (as shown in the table below), different water treatment units must be used for water quality treatment based on their respective characteristics. The F-type water processor is designed specifically for open cooling water systems, while the G-type water processor is designed specifically for closed circulating water systems.

Precautions for installation of bypass flow processor


When designing and installing, a position should be reserved for the installation of the bypass water processor near the system water pump. The inlet of the bypass water processor is connected to the outlet pipe of the system water pump, and the outlet is connected to the inlet pipe of the system water pump;
During equipment installation, a maintenance space of no less than 600mm should be left around the perimeter;
3. The bypass water processor should be installed indoors with good ventilation. If it must be installed outdoors, a rainproof device should be installed; During installation and handling, do not subject the electronic controller to pressure or moisture;
4. Pressure gauges should be installed near the inlet and outlet of the bypass water processor, and the water pressure at the inlet and outlet can reflect the working condition of the water processor;
5. For the new system, before the system is officially put into use, the entire pipeline system must be flushed to remove impurities such as welding slag, iron wire, steel pipe oxide scale, and to drain the yellow rust water in the system. For old systems with severe scaling (scale thickness>2mm), the scale should be removed before installing the bypass water processor to prevent the old scale from falling off and blocking the pipeline.

Precautions for using the bypass flow processor


(1) The product has been adjusted by the technical inspection department before leaving the factory, and users do not need to adjust it themselves.
(2) When the power is turned on, the operation indicator light is on;
(3) When the automatic discharge is activated, the cleaning indicator light is on.
(4) When a malfunction occurs, the fault indicator light will turn on, and the manufacturer should be notified promptly for repair.
