Self cleaning exhaust filters utilize mechanisms such as gas water separation, settling, and filtration. When the water in the cooling water, hot water, and chilled water systems enters the self-cleaning exhaust filter, the volume expands and the flow rate sharply decreases. The bubbles in the water separate and rise to the gas gathering zone, and small bubbles are adsorbed on the separation plate. When large bubbles are formed and rise to the gas gathering zone, they are discharged through the automatic exhaust valve. The circulating water with pollutants settles with the water flow in the filter. After passing through the separation plate, the pollutants are accelerated and quickly settle in the storage area on both sides of the filter element. Due to the large capacity of the storage area, it is only necessary to regularly open the drain valve. After the separation of air and dirt, the relatively clean water flows into the inlet of the water pump through the filter element. Due to the impact of the water pump and water flow, the filter element has a small vibration, which can shake off individual dirt attached to the outside of the filter element, achieving the purpose of self-cleaning.
