50mm glass filter with porous glass or PTFE coated support pad. Can be used for particle testing or clarification and sterile filtration. The only difference between these two types of filters is the difference in the filter membrane support pad. One type is a porous glass support pad, which can ensure that the trapped particles are evenly distributed on the surface of the filter membrane, making it particularly suitable for collecting and counting particulate matter. Another type of filter membrane support pad is a stainless steel mesh with PTFE coating, which is suitable for collecting filtrate, such as sample particle removal, and other applications. The PTFE protective gasket that fixes the filter membrane support pad not only protects the fragile glass support pad, but also prevents the filter membrane from sticking to the support pad during high-pressure sterilization of the entire filtration system. The gasket has a border on the upper end for easy fixation of the funnel, and an O-ring on the lower end to prevent leakage.
