Sartorius 25mm glass filter

25mm glass filter, equipped with glass support pad or PTFE coated filter membrane support pad. Used for hybridization, particle testing, and clarification. The only difference between these two devices is the support pad for the filter membrane, whether it is a glass support pad or a PTFE coated support pad. Equipped with a glass support pad, it ensures that the intercepted particles are evenly distributed on the surface of the filter membrane, making it particularly suitable for collecting and counting particulate matter. The PTFE coated filter membrane support pad is commonly used for collecting filtrate, such as removing particles, or for radiochemical research due to its easy cleaning. The PTFE protective gasket that fixes the filter membrane support pad not only protects the fragile glass support pad, but also prevents the filter membrane from sticking to the support pad during high-pressure sterilization of the entire filtration system. The gasket has a border on the upper end for easy fixation of the funnel. The lower end is matched with an O-ring to prevent leakage.
