Rubber waterstop is mainly made of natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers, with controlled varieties and various additives and fillers added through plastic refining, mixing, and compression molding. It has many types, including bridge type, mountain type PR、 Types 3, Z, B, E have good elasticity, waterproof resistance, aging resistance, and durability. They have strong deformation ability and a temperature range of -450-+6 (pc.). When the temperature exceeds+70C, or when oxidized or corroded by organic solvents such as oil, this product should not be used. Rubber waterstop utilizes the high elasticity and compression deformation characteristics of rubber to produce elastic deformation under various loads, thereby effectively fastening and sealing, preventing water leakage and seepage in building structures, and providing shock absorption and buffering effects. In the design of large engineering buildings, due to the inability to continuously pour, deformation of the foundation, or thermal expansion and contraction of concrete components caused by temperature changes, construction joints, settlement joints, and deformation joints must be left, and waterstops must be installed at these joints to prevent water leakage problems.
