The RSC-170 αβ γ surface contamination measuring instrument is a portable surface contamination measuring device, mainly used to detect surface contamination on the ground, tabletop, and other surfaces of radioactive workplaces, as well as contamination on the hands, shoes, work clothes, and other surfaces of workers. It can also monitor the surface radiation intensity of ceramic tiles, marble, and other materials used in home decoration. At the same time, it can count indoor radon gas and its progeny to roughly estimate the radioactive contamination caused.

The RSC-170 series alpha beta gamma radiation surface contamination measuring instrument detector is a thin window flow gas proportional counter. The instrument can directly use ordinary lighter butane gas as the detection gas, and can work continuously for more than 4 hours in a fully charged state. After the work is completed, the gas can be turned off through the switch, without the need to inflate every time. The instrument has multiple display modes: Cnt, Bq, mGy/h, etc. It can simultaneously perform alpha and beta measurements, as well as achieve high-sensitivity X and gamma measurements and fast X and gamma measurements.
