Product details

Quotation for Shanxi Portable Fruit Hardness TesterPurpose:

Fruit hardness tester (also known as fruit hardness tester or fruit hardness tester))This product is divided into three models: BGY-1, BGY-2, and BGY-3. It is used to measure the hardness of various fruits such as apples, pears, watermelons, bananas, etc., to determine the maturity of the fruits, and to handle the cultivation of high-quality seeds, picking time, processing time, harvesting and storage, export transportation, and other picking processes reasonably.Fruit hardness testerSuitable for use by fruit tree research departments, fruit tree farms, fruit companies, colleges and universities, and other units. This instrument is small in size, light in weight, intuitive in numerical display, easy to carry, and suitable for inspecting fruits in various fruit venues.Fruit hardness testerIt can also be assembled for use on specialized machines to improve the accuracy of testing and is suitable for professional inspection departments.
Design principle of fruit hardness tester
Fruit hardness refers to the pressure (N) exerted by a force measuring spring on a unit area (S) of a fruit, and their ratio is defined as fruit hardness (P).
P =N/S
P - The hardness value of the tested fruit is 105 Pa or (kilograms per square meter)
N - The force exerted by the force spring on the surface of the fruit, measured in Newtons or kilograms
S - the area of force on the fruit in square meters or (square centimeters)

Quotation for Shanxi Portable Fruit Hardness TesterPrecautions
1. Before measurement, loosen the fastening knob, rotate the dial to align the driving pointer (straight head) with the initial scale line, and then tighten the fastening knob. Check if the indicator pointer is on the right side of the driver pointer. If not, rotate the zero knob to make the indicator pointer on the right side of the driver pointer.
2. To achieve better accuracy, before measurement, manually press the pressure head and apply full range pressure two to three times to lubricate it.
3. When measuring hardness, it should be inserted evenly and slowly, without rotating or pressing in, let alone impacting the measurement.
4. The pressure head should be perpendicular to the surface of the fruit.
5. The outer ring scale unit of BGY-1 and BGY-2 fruit hardness testers is × 10 5 Pa, and the inner ring scale unit is kg/cm2. For GY-3 type, when connecting a small indenter, use the inner ring scale to read, and when connecting a large indenter, use the outer ring scale to read.
6. Keep the instrument and pressure head clean, and clean the juice after measurement.
7. The upper professional rack connector is a component used by professional inspection departments to connect with the rack. When it needs to be connected, turn the knob and use the screws inside to screw into the screw holes on the rack.
8. After more than one year of use, the back cover should be opened and a small amount of gauge oil should be injected into the spindle, teeth, gemstone eyes, guide grooves, etc. for lubrication to improve instrument accuracy and extend service life.
9. The force measuring spring has been calibrated at the factory, and it is not allowed to rotate the nut without authorization.

Instructions for use
Before measurement: Rotate the dial to align the driving pointer with the * scale lines on the dial (scale line 2 for BGY-1 type, and scale line 0.5 for BGY-2 and BGY-3 types); Peel off about 1 square centimeter of the fruit to be tested.
Measurement: Hold the hardness tester with your hand so that it is perpendicular to the surface of the fruit being tested. The indenter is evenly pressed into the fruit, and the driving pointer begins to drive the indicator pointer to rotate. When the indenter reaches the scale line (10 millimeters) and stops, the reading indicated by the indicator pointer is the hardness of the fruit. Take the average of three readings.
After measurement: Rotate the zero knob to reset the pointer to the initial scale line.
