How to deal with the unpleasant odor generated in the production workshop of the sanitary ware factory? Sanitary ware refers to ceramic and hardware home equipment used in bathrooms and kitchens. Effective solutions are needed for the treatment of exhaust gases from spray painting rooms, injection molded parts, rubber parts, and metal die-casting in plastic sanitary ware factories. What we need to learn today is how to solve these problems.
In the waste gas treatment project of a sanitary ware factory in Jiangsu, we learned that the factory has one painting room (with a size of 16m × 8m × 3m) and one drying room; There are 2 spray booths and a total of 8 spray guns in the paint booth. When using compressed air to assist in spraying operations, benzene derivatives, acetate esters, and other volatile organic compounds such as non methane total hydrocarbons are produced.
Explanation of Waste Gas Treatment Process:
The negative pressure collection of spray painting exhaust gas is pre treated with a water curtain to remove paint mist, and then combined with leveling exhaust gas and drying exhaust gas (mixed at a temperature below 45 ℃) through dry filtration, photocatalytic oxidation, and activated carbon adsorption treatment. After that, it is discharged through a 15m exhaust pipe (No.1 exhaust pipe) with a total air volume of not less than 15000m3/h, a collection efficiency of 98%, and a purification treatment efficiency of over 90%.
During the processing of plastic products, a large amount of exhaust gas is generated, which means that the plastic has a strong odor. The use of activated carbon adsorption can achieve the desired effect, but it is easy to fully adsorb and requires frequent replacement of activated carbon, resulting in higher costs in the later stage.
The process instructions for treating injection molded parts, die-casting waste gas, and rubber waste gas are shown in the following figure:
There is another practical way to treat plastic waste gas, which is to use a spray purification tower and low-temperature plasma equipment. Firstly, the waste gas is introduced into the purification tower through a spiral air duct. It passes through two stages of spraying, then the packing layer, and finally the dehazing plate for dehydration and dehazing before being introduced into the low-temperature plasma equipment by a fan. After secondary treatment by the low-temperature plasma equipment, the purification efficiency can reach over 95%, which meets the requirements of the secondary emission standard. The emission of waste gas also meets the requirements of local standards.
Injection molded parts, die-casting waste gas, and rubber waste gas are treated and collected, purified by a bag filter and activated carbon adsorption box to meet standards, and then discharged at high altitudes.
