IITotal hydrocarbon analyzerPreparation before use

1) Before using the instrument, the quartz combustion tube, glass purification tube (three pieces), flow meter, combustion boat, nitrogen absorption tube, U-shaped tube, and electrolytic cell must be cleaned and dried. Fill appropriate amounts of reagents separately and connect the instrument's gas circuit as shown in the diagram before use.

1) Three glass purification tubes, flow meter

Three glass purification tubes of the same size are filled with color changing silicone gel, solid sodium hydroxide (which can be replaced by alkali asbestos or sodium lime), and anhydrous magnesium perchlorate. After installing the medicine, connect the three purification tubes and flow meter in series with a polytetrafluoroethylene hose.

2) Quartz combustion tube is a composite quartz tube that purifies quartz tubes and quartz combustion tubes. The quartz combustion tube is located on the inner layer, purifying the outer layer of the quartz tube. The quartz combustion tube contains the pyrolysis product of silver permanganate, which is about 100mm away from the outlet. After installation, it is inserted into the combustion furnace and conversion furnace hall. The outlet is connected to the inlet of the electrolytic cell, and the inlet of the quartz combustion tube is connected to the outlet of the flow meter. The injection port (wide mouth) is plugged with a rubber stopper with a push rod.

pay attention toExcept for the section from the oxygen cylinder to the entrance of the quartz purification tube, latex tubes (specification ф 6 × 9) can be used. Other connections require polyethylene hoses and silicone rubber hoses. Latex tubing itself still has some breathability and non antioxidant properties, so it is not suitable for use. The outlet of the quartz purification tube to the color changing silicone purification tube (including the connection between each purification tube) and the purification tube filled with anhydrous calcium chloride (or anhydrous magnesium perchlorate) to the combustion tube are all equipped with polytetrafluoroethylene hoses.
