10 μ m pixel size
1 million pixel image array EMCCD
EXcelon ™ 3 Technologies
High speed readout and spectral dynamics
Key characteristics
High UV NIR sensitivity
Utilizing eXcelon ™ ProEM has a sensitivity in the ultraviolet to near-infrared range (with a quantum efficiency greater than 95%), while reducing the Etaloning effect, which is the interference fringes generated by the constructive and destructive interference of back illuminated EMCCD.

Deep cooling to -90 ℃
The unique vacuum technology enables ProEMCCD to achieve cryogenic effects as low as -90 ℃. This can provide extremely low dark current for long exposure times, while a single input window ensures high sensitivity.

Frame transfer architecture
ProEM uses a frame transfer architecture that does not require a mechanical shutter, allowing for continuous reading of images or spectra.
In high-speed readout mode, the full frame imaging rate can reach 34 frames per second or greater than 3 kHz, and baseline stability is ensured within a single count through deviation correction.

EM gain calibration
ProEM utilizes built-in OptiCAL, a reference light source that provides one click gain calibration to ensure consistent performance throughout the camera's lifespan.
Supported by LightField software
This powerful and intuitive software comes with a built-in math engine that allows for complete control of cameras and spectrometers through real-time image analysis and spectral data.
LightField software seamlessly integrates hardware and direct data acquisition into certain programs, such as National Instruments' LabVIEW ® MATLAB with MathWorks ®。 The software also fully supports IntelliCal's automatic wavelength and intensity calibration function.
SOPHIA can also be fully controlled by the PICAM SDK, eliminating any overhead that may occur when communicating through other development environments.
