The principle mainly consists of the following parts: film conveying system, upper and lower mold guide parts, bottom film preheating area, hot forming area, loading area, heat sealing area, coding system, slitting area and edge material recovery system, control system, etc. The whole machine adopts a modular structure design, and various devices can be added or removed according to user needs to increase or decrease and change various functions. The following are the working principles of each component device.

1. Thin film conveying system. The whole machine adopts roll film forming packaging, therefore a film traction and conveying device is designed. In work, the entire process of preheating and forming the bottom film to sealing and cutting is subject to clamping and traction, and its power comes from the transmission chains arranged along the longitudinal sides of the machine. Each pitch on the chain is equipped with a clip, which can automatically clamp the bottom film from start to finish. The conveyor chain transports the bottom film from the beginning of the machine to the end in a continuous step-by-step manner. The chain of the standard model is driven by a dual speed three-phase motor, which operates at high speed during feeding and automatically switches to low-speed operation before each step stops, accurately stopping at the end position of each step. This driving method can uniformly accelerate the running speed of the chain at the beginning stage of each feed, and gradually decelerate at the end stage. It can prevent the packaging from rolling or splashing out of the pallet due to the rapid start or stop of the chain when packaging circular solids or liquids. As an option, a stepper motor drive can be used to achieve electronic control for stepless speed regulation.

2. Upper and lower membrane guiding parts. The upper and lower films are respectively mounted on the upper and lower paper return rollers, which are pulled and loosened. They are then guided and unfolded by guide rollers and shaking rollers before being fed into the machine. The upper roll film is designed with a photoelectric positioning device to recognize its printing cursor during the traction and transportation process, so that the upper film pattern is accurately positioned above each forming tray, achieving precise packaging. In addition, before entering the heat sealing zone, a coding device can be installed to synchronize the printing of dates and batch numbers through electronic control.

3. Bottom film preheating zone and hot forming zone. The bottom film needs to be heated before forming. In order to improve productivity and achieve rapid forming, a preheating zone is set up before the hot forming zone, so that the bottom film has a certain temperature before entering the hot forming zone, thereby shortening the heating time of the hot forming zone. The molding temperature varies depending on the softness, thickness, and material of the film. Hot forming methods include various methods such as air pressure forming, vacuum forming, and die forming.

4. Loading area. After the bottom film is formed, it enters the filling area, which can be equipped with corresponding filling machines according to the different packaging materials, or manually filled. The length of the loading area can be manufactured as needed for loading operations.

5. Heat sealing zone. At the same time as the bottom film of the tray filled with materials enters the heat sealing area, cover it with a film. A heat sealing template is installed in the heat sealing area, driven by a cylinder. The heat sealing template is equipped with an electric heating tube, and its heating temperature is controlled by a temperature control element. The upper film can be heat sealed with the tray bottom film through a heat sealing template. The heat sealing temperature and time are set by electronic control to adapt to different thicknesses or materials of the film. Vacuum and inflation devices can be installed in the heat sealing area as needed to achieve vacuum or vacuum inflation packaging. Similarly, the vacuum degree and inflation amount can be controlled by an electronic control device.

6. Divide the area. After heat sealing, neatly arranged packaging is formed, but these packages are connected together and must enter the slitting area for horizontal and vertical cutting processes to obtain independent finished product packaging. According to the requirements of film thickness, softness, material, and cutting shape, different cutting modules can be equipped.

7. Edge material recycling device. The edge film during the slitting process is collected by a collector. According to the different softness and cutting methods of the film, vacuum suction, crushing collection, or winding can be used.

8. Because the whole control system adopts modular combined structure design, each module is a relatively independent whole. During the packaging process, there are extremely strict requirements for the motion relationship between each module structure, which requires precise positioning and coordinated connection with each other. Therefore, automatic control of the machine is very important. The electronic control system can use a programmable controller or microprocessor. After the machine is started, the controller controls the operation of the machine based on the stored program. Some key data such as compressed air pressure, vacuum degree, molding temperature, batch number, etc. can be easily modified to adapt to changes in working conditions.
