Instrument Introduction

The practical volatile phenol analyzer is developed and designed according to the national standard J503-2009 "Determination of volatile phenols in water quality -4-aminoantipyrine spectrophotometric method after distillation". The detection system uses imported optical components and has stable and reliable performance. A 5-inch large screen display with a simple and easy to understand interface, allowing users to use it quickly and accurately.

Detection Principle

Phenolic compounds react with 4-aminoantipyrine in the presence of potassium ferrocyanide in a pH 10.00 ± 0.2 medium to produce orange red indophenol antipyrine dye. The absorbance of the sample at a specific light source wavelength is detected by spectrophotometry, and the data is automatically processed by a microcomputer to directly display the concentration of volatile phenols in the sample, expressed in mg/L.
