SPIDER-80SG Stress and Strain Tester Stress Tester Stress Measuring Instrument
The Spider-80SG strain stress and multi physics module, also known as the stress-strain tester, is one of the Spider series data acquisition products designed for stress-strain testing applications. Therefore, it integrates the latest technological features of the Spider data collection system, including its networking functionality.

The so-called networking function means that the Spider-80SG stress tester can have strong flexibility in expanding the number of channels and functions like other products in the Spider series. Users can easily connect multiple Spider-80SGs, or mix the Spider-80SG stress measuring instrument with the dynamic signal analyzer Spider-80X and vibration controller Spider-81.

The bridge calibration guide of Spider-80SG is easy to use and has strong flexibility. Bridge calibration does not require external wiring, it is all built-in and automatically completed. Based on bridge calibration, users can choose any reasonable bridge arm for the bridge type. Ultimately, the bridge resistor will be connected to the designated bridge arm.

In addition, this flexibility allows users to use Spider-80SG bridge resistors or any bridge resistor they set themselves. Not all strain gauges are designed the same. In fact, many different manufacturers have different models and types. That's why Spider-80SG allows users to customize voltage excitation on each independent pin of each input channel.
Zero offset is the integration of calibration functionality into the Spider-80SG software, which will make the operation simpler. All that needs to be done is to connect the strain gauge to Spider-80SG, click on the zero offset function, and Spider-80SG will automatically process it.
Time synchronization between multiple modules
Spider-80SG is a time synchronization technology based on IEEE 1588. Under the same network, the Spider front-end can achieve 50ns precision synchronization, ensuring adjacent channel phase matching of ± 1 ^ ° @ 20 kHz. This unique technology and high-speed Ethernet data transmission make the distributed components of network connections like an integrated system.
LOCAL SENSING function
As part of the accuracy verification, the Spider-80SG uses the local sensing function of the crystal drill instrument for calibration testing. The local sensing verifies the actual measurement accuracy of the device, which has been set before leaving the factory.
Poisson's ratio parameter
Poisson's ratio is a measurement parameter of the Spider-80SG system. Users will be able to customize a value for Poisson's ratio, or set it directly based on testing or testing configuration.
