Operation steps:
Before using PT-90D, remove the instrument cover and place the probe into contact with the two contacts on the cover. Press the test switch, and if it displays 18 ± 1, it indicates that the instrument is in normal condition.
Insert the electrode probe into the test specimen to be measured, press the test switch, and the corresponding data displayed on the LED digital tube is the average absolute moisture content of the specimen. When the measured value is less than 5, it displays 0, and when the measured value is greater than 40, it displays AA, indicating that it exceeds the range. After the test is completed, release the test switch and the power will automatically turn off, effectively saving energy and protecting the instrument for longer use.
Gear setting method:
According to the tested wood, check the recommended gear according to the attached table. First press and hold the tree species setting button, then press the test switch at the same time. At this time, the setting value of the current gear in the book will be displayed, and the decimal point in the lower right corner will flash. Contact the Anton Book setting button to change the gear to the desired position. Release both buttons, and after setting is complete, the instrument will automatically save the set gear. The factory default gear is 5. Please check if the gear corresponds before measurement.

precautions
