AVESTA's ultrafast laser technology is derived from the Quantum Radio Physics Department of the P.N. Lebedev Institute of Physics in Russia. The company was founded in 1990 by two Nobel laureates, Basov and Prokhorov, and is headquartered in the academic town of Troitsk in southwestern Russia.

Product Overview:

Avesta's PErL laser is a very compact femtosecond laser that operates in the C-band (1530-1565 nm). This type of laser has high stability, excellent parameter reproducibility, and anti-interference (external vibration or other mechanical interference), making it very suitable for OEM applications.

The pulse width range is 250 fs -5 ps, and the pulse waveform is close to the transformation limit. The average output power of this PErL laser can reach up to 50 mW, which is relatively cheap and cost-effective. It is a very cost-effective solution for low-power applications such as amplification system seed sources. The high-frequency output of the laser can be used to trigger the synchronization system. This laser can be used as an independent pulse source or in composite systems.

In OEM applications, this type of laser only requires a+5 V power supply (the laser comes with a power adapter suitable for standard 220/110 V voltage).
