Model PA80It is a readily available device installed on the panelPeroxyacetic acid (PAA) analyzer. Peroxyacetic acid is a colorless liquid with a characteristic pungent odor similar to vinegar. PAA is produced through the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid, and is typically provided as an equilibrium solution of the three, with a concentration of 5-15%. It is a stronger oxidant than chlorine or chlorine dioxide.
Peroxyacetic acid is widely used in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and medical industries as a cleaning and disinfecting agent for processing equipment, medical devices, and bottle cleaning. It is also widely used as a disinfectant in cooling towers and urban sewage treatment plants. PAA is an efficient fungicide that, unlike many chlorine products, does not produce multiple harmful disinfectant products (DBPs). It naturally decomposes into acetic acid and water, and does not form residues that must be removed from the treated water before being released into the environment.
The PA80 adopts a plug and play design, including a constant water flow control device, pH sensor, peracetic acid sensor, and T80 analyzer/controller for easy installation on PVC panels. Simply connect the sample and discharge pipeline, connect the power supply and output to use. Calibration is completed by comparing the captured samples.
T80 is powered by 110-240 volts AC voltage or 24 volts DC voltage, and allows for the graphical display of any parameter using user-defined line, bar, or gauge styles. The standard configuration includes (2) 4-20mA output, (3) alarm relay, and Modbus RTU.
Automatic cleaning options include solvent driven spray cleaners using 30PSI process water or air. An easily adjustable timer controls the time and duration of the cleaning cycle.
