Handheld coating thickness gauge (PAC mobile) is a non-destructive and non-contact measuring instrument that uses photothermal method to measure coating thickness. Compliant with European standard DIN EN 15042-2.

It is suitable for measuring dry, wet film, and powder coatings, such as organic solvent coatings, water-based coatings, powder coatings, and glazes on various substrates (metal, rubber, or ceramic).

Through a handheld measuring probe (ergonomic), the handheld coating thickness gauge (PCA mobile) can quickly and accurately measure coating thickness in complex on-site environmental conditions such as humidity or dryness, using the built-in coating working curve of the portable terminal, and can be repeated multiple times at the same location.

The use of photothermal measurement technology can detect the accuracy of coating thickness before curing (natural drying or baking), which can increase production efficiency and improve the quality of the final product.

The handheld thickness gauge (PCAmobile) consists of a handheld sensor and a portable terminal, which can directly obtain measurement results on site.
