Industrial coating thickness gauge is a measuring instrument that uses photothermal method to automatically measure coating thickness in industrial production process. It has the characteristics of non-destructive and non-contact. It combines OPTISENSE's years of rich experience in manufacturing reliable and durable coating thickness monitoring components with unparalleled small sensor probes that can be flexibly used. The standard based on photothermal measurement complies with the European standard DIN EN 15042-2 and is suitable for measuring dry, wet film, and powder coatings, such as organic solvent coatings, water-based coatings, powder coatings, and glazes on various substrates (such as metals, rubber, or ceramics).
The most prominent advantage of industrial coating thickness gauges is their lightweight sensor probe, which weighs only 100g. By using standardized fixtures or robots, they can be easily integrated into production lines. In the early stages of production - after direct coating, using it will identify any process deviations, thereby helping to prevent rework and unnecessary material rejection.

The clear OpiSenen user software allows real-time observation of coating thickness during automatic operation and real-time transmission of measurement values to existing process controls.
