The Ocean Guardian system is a perfect fusion of a universal data acquisition unit and a set of autonomous intelligent sensors. The data acquisition device and intelligent sensor are connected through a reliable CANbus bus interface and use XML data format to achieve plug and play functionality. When powered on, each sensor connected to the bus will report its performance and specifications to the data logger. The data collector collects sensor information and then provides customers with optional configuration options based on the connected sensor situation. Because intelligent sensors can work independently on one hand, and can be freely integrated into the Ocean Guardian system on the other hand, this gives sensor designers more flexibility in optimizing sensor design based on sensor application situations, without considering the burden that sensor optimization brings to the entire system. The system data is stored on a 2GB SD card. The Ocean Guardian platform has a built-in current calculator that can calculate the long-term deployment time of the entire system based on information such as measurement intervals, battery types, and power consumption of smart sensors |

| The instrument also integrates a powerful electronic compass and tilt sensor. In addition, the Ocean Guardian RCM can also integrate new generation intelligent sensors such as temperature, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen. Compared to previous models, the resolution of the new generation of sensors has been improved. | |||||||||
