1. System composition

Electronic tag: RFID active radio frequency card, with a recognition distance range of 2-80M, advanced anti-collision technology, can simultaneously recognize more than 200 identifiers per second, using low-power chips, healthier and safer, with high anti-interference ability, and no special requirements for various interference sources on site. Its working mode is proactive and capable of calling, for example, by pressing a button, it can know who has something to do and where to call.

Fixed card reader: A long-distance omnidirectional card reader produced by our company, which can be used to automatically read information from RF cards. It can recognize 200 cards simultaneously, with a recognition distance of 5-80m. It uses channel isolation technology, multiple devices do not interfere with each other, advanced anti-collision technology, and supports multi tag reading and writing.

Controller: It is used to control card readers. One controller can control four card readers, each of which can recognize 200 cards at the same time, allowing the system to recognize more tags for better elderly management.

Personnel positioning management system: consisting of a computer and a specialized personnel management software system based on this solution.

2. Working principle of the system

This system uses a card reader to annotate the position of the elderly in actual terrain to monitor their location. Use a card reader to sense the sequence of cards and determine the route the elderly person is walking.

Its working process: Every day, the elderly must bring the radio frequency card provided by the nursing home, which we call the "senior card" here. These cards have codes, and each identification card has a unique code. The working mode of this card is active. As long as it is in a normal environment, it continuously emits information and can also transmit over a long distance (range 2-80M). When the senior card sends out a signal, the card reader can accurately recognize the signal sent by the tag through an omnidirectional antenna. The card reader then sends the read information to the controller, which then sends the information to the management system through the RS232/RS485 interface. As the distance is far, a relay needs to be added to enhance the information transmission function. Due to the elderly person's need to move, when they reach the next location, they are read by another card reader. The two card readers can be crossed during installation without signal interference.

Backend management: The card reader transmits the elderly information it reads to the elderly home personnel positioning system through the controller and relay, and then adds more detailed information through the system (such as who the owner of the tag is, where it is located, specific time, etc.). The management personnel can easily understand the situation of each elderly person through the computer display screen and monitor them in real-time.
