MThe Elfort 6400 visibility sensor is designed to monitor visibility conditions within a range of 20 feet to 50 miles (6 meters to 80 kilometers).MThe Elfort 6400 visibility sensor includes digital output and relay output. The RS232 digital output in the range of 300~38400 baud is used to display real-time visibility and provide diagnostic information, while also providing an operational path for parameter setting and calibration of the instrument. SPDT relays can provide adjustable input and output points for VMS or other systems.
The sensor is installed in a lightweight protective housing and can be mounted on a simple support rod. The structure is sturdy and stable, made entirely of corrosion-resistant materials. The standard configuration includes a lens heater installed on the lens to prevent condensation of water vapor. The optional protective cover heater is very effective for sensors working in cold regions. The design of transmitter and receiver protective covers takes into account the impact of precipitation on instrument operation. Sensors can be calibrated under various weather conditions.MThe Elfort visibility sensor has received widespread praise from important meteorological and transportation organizations around the world, and the 6400 VisWx visibility/weather phenomenon sensor will continue its low-cost, high-quality tradition.
