Principle and structure of methanol ethanol flowmeter

The 3320 methanol ethanol flowmeter is a precision flow measurement instrument that can be used in conjunction with the corresponding flow integrator to measure the flow rate and total amount of liquids. Used in conjunction with the 7100 series quantitative controller developed by our factory, it can achieve high-precision quantitative control of liquid feeding. Widely used in the fields of petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, scientific research and other metrology and control systems. Turbine flow sensors with sanitary fittings can be applied in the pharmaceutical industry. The methanol ethanol flowmeter can also be connected to secondary instruments or controllers in the control room to achieve integration, transmission, communication, and control functions.

Product features of methanol ethanol flowmeter

High precision options include 0.2%, 0.5%, and 1.0% precision.

Wear resistant hard alloy bearings are suitable for media containing impurities such as gravel with a diameter not exceeding 1mm.

Corrosion resistance is suitable for corrosive media such as seawater, ammonia water, and acetic acid.

Bidirectional turbine flow meters are available for selection. Suitable for measuring the inflow and outflow of oil depots.

Multiple output pulses, 4-20mADC, on-site display, remote transmission display.

The power range is wide from 5 to 24VDC

Explosion proof grade ExdllCT6

Series diameter: 2, 4, 6, 10, 15, 25, 40, 50, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 mm.

LCD screen can have backlight display.

The integrated header can be equipped with RS 485 communication.

The integrated header can be equipped with upper and lower limit alarm and equivalent output functions.

Product Structure of Methanol Ethanol Flow Meter

The structure of the methanol ethanol flowmeter is shown in the following figure, which mainly consists of a housing, a front guide frame, an impeller, a rear guide frame, a clamping ring, and a magneto electric induction converter with an amplifier;

Working principle of methanol ethanol flowmeter

When the measured fluid flows through the sensor, the impeller inside the sensor rotates with the help of the kinetic energy of the fluid. The impeller periodically changes the magnetoresistance in the magneto electric induction system, causing the magnetic flux passing through the coil to periodically change and generate an electrical pulse signal. After amplification by an amplifier, it is transmitted to the corresponding flow integrator for flow or total measurement.

3320 turbine flowmeter optional accessories and customized structure

1. Dual row LCD display, simultaneously displaying instantaneous flow and cumulative flow

2. The power supply method is 24VDC or 3.6V lithium battery (electromagnetic service life can reach 20000 hours)

3. Optional reset switch, clear accumulated flow or magnetic steel reset by pressing the button

4. The units of flow accumulation can be set as cubic meters, liters, kilograms, gallons, cubic feet, and standard cubic meters.

5. The bottom thread size is M16 × 1 or M14 × 1, which can be matched with various types of turbine flow sensors.

6. The output method is pulse output or two-wire isolated current output, with a current output type of 4-20mA (signal output requires an external 24V power supply)

7. The explosion-proof rating of the shell is ExdllCT6
