Structure and properties
The mesh type stepped grille can remove floating objects and fiber materials, and does not block the water flow during operation, which can clean the slag from the grille. It is mainly composed of main components such as drive device, frame, transmission sprocket, traction chain, mesh plate, and electrical control cabinet. During operation, the mesh plate is driven by the two side transmission chains to extract dirt from the entire width range of the channel upwards from bottom to top. When it reaches the upper part, it automatically completes the unloading work through the steering function of the sprocket.

(1) Drive device

(2) Rack

At the same time, a rotating brush further cleans the mesh board.

The traction chain wheel and guide device (non chain wheel) used for transmission are placed on the upper and lower parts of both sides of the frame, respectively. In the form of an underwater guide device, there are reliable facilities in the structure to prevent the entanglement of debris such as slag. The guiding device is a non chain wheel mechanism.
(4) Net board
The mesh board is made of stainless steel and has small holes arranged in a regular pattern on the mesh surface. The mesh surface has the functions of passing water and intercepting pollutants, and the step surface can intercept larger pollutants.
The entire stepped mesh filter belt has sufficient water passage to ensure that the water passage area and flow rate meet the design requirements, and the flow velocity of sewage passing through the grid gap is less than 1m/s.
(5) Cleaning brush
The cleaning brush is set at the starting point of the return journey of the mesh plate, driven by a separate deceleration motor. While the filter moves, it assists in unloading and cleaning the outer surface of the mesh plate. The cleaning bristles are made of nylon material.
(6) Washing device
The mesh type stepped grating machine is equipped with an orifice plate flushing device to ensure that the return orifice plate after unloading does not adhere to dirt, completely eliminating the blockage of the mesh holes.
