Structure and properties
The mesh type stepped grille can remove floating objects and fiber materials, and does not block the water flow during operation, which can clean the slag from the grille. It is mainly composed of main components such as drive device, frame, transmission sprocket, traction chain, mesh plate, and electrical control cabinet. During operation, the mesh plate is driven by the two side transmission chains to extract dirt from the entire width range of the channel upwards from bottom to top. When it reaches the upper part, it automatically completes the unloading work through the steering function of the sprocket.

(1) Drive device
The driving device of the grid type stepped grating machine is located at the upper part of the frame, and except for the transmission device, all others are made of stainless steel material. The driving device adopts a shaft mounted reducer, and a spiral adjustment device is installed on both sides of the frame to adjust the tension of the transmission chain.
The drive motor is suitable for a power supply of 380V/three-phase/50Hz, with a protection level of IP55 and an insulation level of F. The rated power of the motor is 10% higher than other high actual power consumption. Equipped with overload protection device.
The design of the transmission shaft has sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand the load of bending moment and torque acting simultaneously.
(2) Rack
The entire grille component is directly installed on the channel, and solid objects in the water are captured by a filter belt connected in series with mesh plates and sent to a higher position at the rear of the cleaning machine drive device before being discharged. At the same time, a rotating brush further cleans the mesh board.
The frame of the mesh type stepped grid cleaning machine is a rigid structure welded with stainless steel plates and steel sections. The welded cleaning machine frame is a rigid whole with sufficient strength and rigidity, and does not deform or twist under the specified water level difference. The frame material is all made of stainless steel, and cross braces are set at a certain distance between the two side plates to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.

(3) Traction chain and sprocket
The traction chain used for transmission is made of stainless steel and has sufficient cross-sectional size. The breaking strength of the traction chain is not less than 5 times that of other large traction forces. The traction chain wheel and guide device (non chain wheel) used for transmission are placed on the upper and lower parts of both sides of the frame, respectively. In the form of an underwater guide device, there are reliable facilities in the structure to prevent the entanglement of debris such as slag. The guiding device is a non chain wheel mechanism.
(4) Net board
The mesh board is made of stainless steel and has small holes arranged in a regular pattern on the mesh surface. The mesh surface has the functions of passing water and intercepting pollutants, and the step surface can intercept larger pollutants.
The entire stepped mesh filter belt has sufficient water passage to ensure that the water passage area and flow rate meet the design requirements, and the flow velocity of sewage passing through the grid gap is less than 1m/s.
(5) Cleaning brush
The cleaning brush is set at the starting point of the return journey of the mesh plate, driven by a separate deceleration motor. While the filter moves, it assists in unloading and cleaning the outer surface of the mesh plate. The cleaning bristles are made of nylon material.
(6) Washing device
The mesh type stepped grating machine is equipped with an orifice plate flushing device to ensure that the return orifice plate after unloading does not adhere to dirt, completely eliminating the blockage of the mesh holes.

Electrical control
The matching local control cabinet for the mesh type grid cleaning machine is made of stainless steel.
