1、 The function and working principle of signal isolators:

Signal isolator is an intelligent instrument with anti-interference and signal conversion distribution functions. Its core is to use electromagnetic isolation or optoelectronic isolation technology to isolate the input and output signals, so that the potential reference point (input ground) of the input signal and the potential reference point (output ground) of the output signal are independent of each other, effectively suppressing the common ground circulation interference existing in the automatic control system and cutting off the conduction circuit of the interference signal, thus improving the anti-interference ability of the system. At the same time, the input signal can be transformed in a certain proportion to output one or more electrical signals that the user needs.

2、 Application of LYG signal isolator:

LYG signal isolators are mainly used in the signal transmission link of PLC and DCS control systems. In DCS and PLC control systems, the signals output by field instruments need to be transmitted to the controller, which inevitably requires centralized wiring. In addition, there is a potential difference between the reference ground of the control room and the reference ground of the field instruments, and there are uncertain interference sources during the signal transmission process, which makes the data collected by the control system unstable.
