1. Application of halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant cable:

Low smoke and flame-retardant halogen-free cables are suitable for fixed installation on AC 50Hz transmission and distribution lines with voltage levels of 1kV and below for the purpose of transmitting electrical energy; Halogen free low smoke flame-retardant cables are mainly used in power plants, petrochemicals, steel plants, tunnels, papermaking, substations, and electronic computer centers with high flame retardant requirements.

2: Characteristics of halogen-free, low smoke, flame-retardant power cables:

(1) Release of halogen-free acid gas.

(2) Smoke less.

(3) Less corrosive gas is generated.

(4) Good flame retardant performance.

3. Specification range:

(1) The specifications of halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables comply with<35kV and below cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables.

(2) The specifications of halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant control cables comply with the requirements of cross-linked ethylene insulated and polyvinyl chloride sheathed control cables.

4. Main technical performance of halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant cable:

(1) The flame retardant performance of the finished cable meets the requirements of IEC60332-3 standard.

(2) Index of halogen-free low smoke materials:

a、 The amount of halogen acid gas emitted (mg/g) is 0.

b. PH value ≥ 4.3.

c、 Conductivity μ s ≤ 10.

d、 Toxicity index ≤ 5.

(3) The oxygen index of halogen-free low smoke flame retardant materials shall not be less than 30.

(4) The finished cable shall have a light transmittance of not less than 60% as measured according to the IEC1034 standard.
