Scope of application of LQ series colloid pump:
The LQ series colloid pump is introduced from foreign technology, digested, absorbed, carefully designed, and developed. Compared with similar pumps abroad, it has high precision, low cost, and has been widely used in various fields.
1. It has the following main differences compared to other pumps:
- This pump belongs to the positive displacement pump, and the delivery flow can be accurately controlled or easily made into a variable displacement pump. The output flow rate of a centrifugal pump cannot be controlled and decreases with an increase in drag; This pump has strong self-priming ability, and centrifugal pumps must be filled with liquid before starting.
- The speed of this pump is very low, usually between 200rpm and 600rpm, and the conveyed material is smoothly output without damaging its composition. The speed of centrifugal pumps is very high, and the conveyed material is subjected to strong impact and centrifugal force. Therefore, centrifugal pumps often produce inconsistent material composition when conveying mixtures, resulting in a decrease in the quality of the finished product. And this pump is the best choice to solve this problem, so it is particularly suitable for conveying mixed materials and even materials containing solid particles.
- This pump can be used to transport substances with high viscosity, so it is also known as a colloid pump. Centrifugal pumps do not have this characteristic.
- This pump can be easily made into varieties with high output pressure, such as 15kg/cm2, suitable for long-distance or high resistance quantitative transportation.
2. Compared with screw pumps (slurry pumps):
Both belong to positive displacement pumps, so their performance is basically similar - they can stably transport high viscosity substances and both have high conveying pressure. But screw pumps have a major drawback that determines their unsuitability in situations with hygiene requirements - the non streamlined surface of the screw pump and numerous defects in the chamber make it impossible to become a sanitary pump, and damage to the chamber wall PTFE or rubber calibration material is more likely to cause pollution to the transported material.
