Principle:

The spray dryer is a drying process in which raw materials are dispersed into droplets by atomizer, and hot air (or other gases) is directly contacted with the droplets to obtain powdered and granular products. After being filtered and heated, the air enters into the hot air distributor on the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters the drying chamber in a spiral shape. The feed liquid passes through the high-speed centrifugal atomizer on the top of the tower body, and the rotating spray forms extremely fine droplets. The droplets contact with the hot air, mix and flow at the same time for heat and mass transfer, and can be dried into finished products in a very short time. The flow direction of the droplets and hot air has concurrent flow, countercurrent flow and mixed flow. The different contact modes have a great impact on the temperature distribution in the drying tower, the movement track of the fog point (or particle), the residence time of the particles in the drying tower, and the product properties.

Most of the finished products are output from the bottom of the drying tower, with some fine powder carried in the exhaust and output through a cyclone separator. The exhaust gas is discharged by a fan.

Features:

The drying speed is fast, and the surface area of the material liquid is greatly increased after atomization. In the hot air flow, 95% -98% of the water can be evaporated instantly, and the drying time is only 5-35 seconds, which is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.

Due to the fact that drying is carried out in hot air, the product basically maintains a spherical shape similar to droplets, with good dispersibility, flowability, and solubility. Simple and stable operation, convenient adjustment and control, and easy implementation of automated operations.

The production process is simplified and suitable for continuous control of liquids with a moisture content of 40% -90%. It can be dried into powder in one go, reducing processes such as crushing and screening. The operating environment has superior hygiene conditions and can avoid dust flying during the drying process.

The raw material liquid can be a solution, slurry, emulsion, suspension, paste or melt, and even filter cake, which can be processed.

Application:

Chemical industry:

Sodium fluoride (potassium), alkaline dye pigments, dye intermediates, compound fertilizers, formaldehyde silicate, catalysts, sulfuric acid agents, amino acids, white carbon black, etc.

Plastic resin:

AB, ABS lotion, urea formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, urea formaldehyde resin, polyethylene, PVC, etc.

Food industry:

Rich fat milk powder, gelatin, cocoa milk powder, milk replacer powder, egg white (yellow).

Food and Plant Juice:

Oats, chicken juice, coffee, instant tea, spices, meat, protein, soybean, peanut protein, hydrolysate, etc.

Carbohydrates:

Corn syrup, corn starch, glucose, pectin, maltose, potassium sorbate, etc.

Ceramics:

Aluminum oxide, ceramic tile materials, magnesium oxide, talc, etc.
