Sulfur based sulfuric acid production is one of the important development directions of China's sulfuric acid industry. Low flow, high head liquid sulfur pumps are key equipment for sulfur based sulfuric acid production. In order to meet the development needs of this situation, the LHY series vertical liquid sulfur pump has been successfully developed by experts from relevant design institutes, colleges and universities, and our company based on the absorption of excellent hydraulic pump types from abroad.
The LHY series vertical liquid sulfur pump is suitable for transporting liquid sulfur at 130-158 ℃ in sulfuric acid production processes of various scales. It is also applicable to other chemical processes that require small flow rates and high head. The LHY series vertical liquid sulfur pump, due to its extremely high head, small flow rate, and low specific speed, is no longer able to meet performance requirements using a centrifugal pump. Using a vortex pump results in unstable operation, so a new technology is adopted for hydraulic design, which has special advantages that ordinary centrifugal pumps and vortex pumps do not have. When the flow rate of this series of pumps varies widely, the pump head remains constant. This feature is particularly suitable for chemical processes that require pumps to have self-adjusting characteristics.
The LHY series vertical liquid sulfur pump has a simple structure, easy maintenance, smooth operation, and stable performance.
When this series of pumps is used to transport liquid sulfur, the minimum material used is 1Cr18Ni9Ti. When used in other chemical processes, the following materials can be used to manufacture 304 (OCr18Ni9), 316 (0Cr18Ni12Mo2), 1Cr18Ni12M0o12Mo2), CW-2 (CD4MCu), J-1 (UB-6), and 20Cb3.
