The analysis method adopts the national standard gas volumetric method and iodometric method. The LC-CS series high-speed carbon sulfur analyzer adopts advanced precision sensing technology and electronic computer technology, thus achieving automated analysis and testing, and precise and accurate measurement results. The combustion of samples using an electric arc furnace has the following advantages compared to traditional tube furnaces: firstly, it has a fast combustion speed, allowing for samples to be tested at any time; Secondly, it saves considerable costs. Copper crucibles can be used for a long time without frequent replacement, while using tube furnaces requires frequent replacement of consumables such as ceramic boats and tubes; Electric arc furnaces ignite instantly in less than 1 second and consume only a dozen kilowatt hours per year, while using tube furnaces consumes tens of thousands of kilowatt hours per year; Thirdly, the operation is very simple, reducing the requirements for laboratory technicians; No thermal radiation pollution, improving the working environment of the laboratory. 1. Replacement of quartz tube
Quartz tubes are consumables that need to be replaced and cleaned after damage or prolonged use.
2. Disassembly of quartz tube
① Remove the shielding mask on the upper left side of the high-frequency furnace.
② Lower the cylinder, open the furnace head, and remove the crucible holder and crucible seat.
③ Rotate counterclockwise (from bottom to top) to loosen the pressure cap of the furnace tube above the quartz tube by about half a circle, so that the pressure cap and the sealing "O" ring are loose. Hold the quartz tube down and remove it from below the furnace tail.
3. Installation of quartz tube
Follow the disassembly steps in reverse.
4. Cleaning of quartz tube
As long as the quartz tube is not damaged or exploded, it can still be used after heating and cleaning with 1:1 hydrochloric acid to remove the iron oxide slag on the wall
5. Replacement of Purifier
The purification agent for the first purification tube in the LC-CS series high-speed carbon sulfur analyzer purification system is an efficient color changing water absorbing agent, which is used to absorb moisture in oxygen and turn red after absorbing water. The purification agent in the No. 2 purification tube is alkali asbestos, which absorbs carbon dioxide from oxygen. The purification agent in purification tube 3 is magnesium perchlorate, which absorbs the moisture from the crucible and sample after combustion. One third of the high-efficiency color changing water absorbing agent turns red and needs to be replaced. Alkali asbestos and magnesium perchlorate are replaced regularly (1-3 months) based on the amount of analyzed samples.

6. Dust removal method inside high-frequency combustion furnace:
The LC-CS series high-speed carbon sulfur analyzer, which is used for a long time, will inevitably accumulate a small amount of dust inside the instrument, and most of the dust is metal dust, which has conductivity. Because the high-frequency induction furnace is in a high voltage and high frequency environment, too much dust can easily conduct electricity in the device, causing circuit short circuits, ignition and other phenomena. In severe cases, it can burn out the entire equipment. Therefore, the dust inside the instrument should be cleaned regularly according to the placement environment and sampling frequency, usually every 6-8 months for dust removal
Dust removal method:
Open the combustion furnace panel of LC-CS series high-speed carbon sulfur analyzer, brush the high-frequency components and high-frequency chamber with a brush to remove most of the dust, and then blow the instrument with an oxygen tube to blow away the remaining dust Cover the instrument panel again (Note: During the entire operation, the instrument power should be disconnected and the power cord should be unplugged to avoid accidents).
  Common faults and solutions of LC-CS series high-speed carbon sulfur analyzer
The high-frequency infrared carbon sulfur analyzer pool voltage mainly has the following fault situations:
1. Fault situation: The pool voltage fluctuates unstably, with a fluctuation greater than 0.01V/min (normally, it should have a light rain of 0.002V/min)
Troubleshooting:
a. If one of the signals for carbon and sulfur is unstable, it may be due to damage to the amplifier board components and the need to replace the amplifier board.
b. If both carbon and sulfur are unstable, it may be due to unstable motor conversion. You can check whether the motor drive voltage is normal, and then check the motor drive and motor. If there are any issues, it may be necessary to replace the motor drive board or motor.
2. Fault cause: The pool voltage signal is greater than 1.9V and there is no change
Fault solution: The pool voltage signal is too high and the display is over range. Adjust the 50K potentiometer of the amplification version counterclockwise until the signal stabilizes at around 1.5000V.
3. Fault cause: No signal from the pool voltage, displayed as 0.0000V
Troubleshooting: If there is no signal input, it means that the signal from the lower computer cannot be transmitted to the upper computer. You can first check if the USB is connected properly or if the USB driver is installed correctly, and adjust the USB cable.
4. Fault cause: The pool voltage signal is low, and the pool voltage is below 1.0000V
Troubleshooting: The voltage of the pool is low, but the jumping is stable. This is because the inner wall of the gold-plated tube is dirty, and the amplification factor of the signal has decreased. Contact the manufacturer for on-site cleaning or replacement of the gold-plated tube.
5. Fault cause: The pool voltage signal is extremely low, less than 0.1000V
Troubleshooting:
a. If one of the signals for carbon and sulfur is extremely low, it means that the light source is not working. Check if the light source has voltage and if it is damaged, and replace the light source.
b. Check if the modulation motor is rotating. If the motor is not rotating, the battery voltage will display a zero signal and the motor drive board or motor needs to be replaced.
