1、 Scope of application

An essential instrument for locating various high resistance grounding types and difficult cable faults. Suitable for rough measurement and precise positioning of various power cables, railway signal cables, and communication cables, including high resistance faults, flashover faults, and low resistance grounding faults. It is very effective in locating complex and difficult faults such as moisture intrusion and cable joint closure. The sound emitted by this instrument during ignition and discharge at cable fault points is one-third to one-half larger than that of ordinary high-voltage discharge devices, making fault location easier. Capable of conducting voltage withstand tests on cables.

2、 Functional Features

a) This power supply has casters for easy movement and is equipped with brakes for locking.

b) Suitable for different types of cable faults and applicable to various imported and domestic cable fault testers.

c) Adopting a large screen LCD display and program controlled output, the operation is simple and reliable.

d) Capable of generating high-voltage pulses within 30KV.

e) Capable of outputting a pre test voltage of 35KV.

f) The built-in discharge ball gap is safe and reliable.

g) The ball gap is controlled by electrical adjustment, and the size of the ball gap is directly preset (such as 1.5mm).

h) It has an automatic discharge function, and after completing the test, the instrument will discharge the internal capacitor and test cable without manual intervention.

i) The wiring is simple, connect the output line to the tested cable, and then connect the power cord for testing.
